Thanksgiving to Christmas
“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” II Corinthians 2:14
Grateful every day for the goodness of the Lord and for his blessing of family, friends and the gift of joy that only He brings to my heart!
May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving knowing that you are loved beyond measure by God who formed you in your mothers womb and knows you by name. You are not hidden or forgotten…for the God who sees is with you every moment! Let’s praise Him for His bountiful love and goodness!!!
I’ll be celebrating with family and enjoying a few days off from my day job. Certainly, had a fun few weeks decorating the campus of Liberty University. I have to pinch myself for the privilege to be a part of a creative team that makes things beautiful!!!
Located at Green Hall – Liberty University (I call this the Grinch Tree) 🙂
As you celebrate with a heart of Thanksgiving and move into the Christmas season, I thought I would share some of these decorating ideas to get you in the spirit! 😀
I see it as an act of worship to create beauty. It moves my heart to rejoice and give thanks for the birth of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every good and perfect gift comes from Him!
This little whimsy tree in the Butler’s pantry at Montview Mansion makes me smile. May it make your heart merry as well!
May you enjoy these snapshots and take a moment to visit the campus and behold the lights and count the blessings the Lord has given you this year.
Love these lights when you first come on campus – Hancock Welcome Center
So fun to decorate the stairwell at the Welcome Center!

A must have village – Montview Mansion
Mantels always look great decorated with garland, lights and bows!
The tree branches of Magnolia, Balsam, and Pine and Boxwood are my favorites to decorate with…just love them added to chandeliers, old pots, lanterns, planters, etc. to make the season bright and festive!
Love this tree at Montview Mansion with leaves painted gold, berry garland, pine cones and a cross made out of pine needles, etc.
Children of all ages will love this Christmas Carol tree display in the Jerry Falwell Library!
Enjoyed the opportunity to do a little painting for the display.
Love my new silver polish from painting chains for the Jacob Marley tree! 🙂
Hope this inspires you to get your decorations out and spread a little cheer around your home!
Prayers and blessings of joy,
Michelle
