Loved by You!
Feeling a 1950’s color vibe this week when “Loved by You” came to mind.
A heart is a must. 🙂 It is very symbolic too of this era as “I Love Lucy” flashes before me. Speaking of, I recently saw the episode when Lucy and Vivian try working at a chocolate factory. So fun to watch…my favorite…laugh every time!!!
More than anything, thinking of the LORD’s love for me (us). Greater than any other love, I am (we are) loved by God.
I John 4:10 in the New Living Translation says,
“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”
Wow, no greater love than that!
So grateful the Lord wipes our slate clean. He is the real deal-the real thing. We do not have to hide, pretend, and/or be (do) anything to win His love. He is LOVE and extends that love towards us through Jesus Christ. All we have to do is receive this gift of genuine Love.
Take a moment for yourself and place your hand on your heart, breath in deeply, and say out loud, “thank you God that I am loved by YOU!”
