A Fairy Tale Life ♥

Every person’s life is a fairy tale written by God’s fingers.
Hans Christian Andersen

Some of my favorite treasures are pieces of jewelry that my father has given me. They are constant reminders of his love for me. When I wear them I feel confident and ready to face the world.

I did not have plans to make jewelry, but one thing led to another while experimenting with clay for another project and it happened.  My heart is that as one wears the piece(s), it will serve as a constant reminder of our Heavenly Father’s love…and fill her heart with His confidence.

Clay love

As I create, I am reminded that we get the lead role in the epic story of our life. We get to partake in this beautiful love story with Our Father, the KING.

“The Lord appeared to me in a faraway place and said, I love you with an everlasting love. So I will continue to show you my kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3

Our journey may be full of twists and turns like every great adventure. We may even lose our way and fall down a rabbit hole, long for a whole new world, feel shipwrecked, locked in a dungeon, and even feel like an ugly duckling.

If we would only keep in mind that just like all fairy tales, every thing works out in the end. Our King made sure of that with His love for each and everyone of us. He wants us to “have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” Ephesians 3:18

Clay Dream

He’s laid out a plan for us: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

He promises to guide and direct us (Proverbs 3: 5-6).

As we lean on him and hold tightly to the treasures, dreams, plans, and messages that he has revealed (and continues to reveal) to us along the way.

Like most things, we find what we look for…and what we focus on (Proverbs 21:21).

“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”  Psalm 27:4

Nothing fills my heart with more joy and praise for God as the daily awakenings He provides through His beautiful creation (nature).

“The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.” Psalm 65:8

I look at the mountains, trees, flowers, rocks and rainbows and I am reminded of His goodness and care for me (Psalm 121).

Clay Create

We are in training and have the opportunity to make a decision to focus on truth or listen to lies. I want truth (Proverbs 4:13). How about you?

God wants us to know that we are His most beautiful creation.

He “created my inmost being; (and) knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13

“I will give thanks to you because I have been so amazingly and miraculously made. Your works are miraculous, and my soul is fully aware of this.”  Psalm 139:14

Clay Happy

For only “In him our hearts find joy.” Psalm 33:21

He gives us “A happy heart (that) makes the face cheerful,”        Proverbs 15:13

Philippians 4:8 exhorts each of us think on things that true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.

“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”  Psalm 27:13

Such power in TRUTH!

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 3:3

Remember you are God’s precious child!  He will never leave you. You are never hidden from Him (Psalm 139:7-12)

Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale.                                             Hans Christian Andersen
