Reclaimed Wood Coffee Sign – GIVEAWAY!
It’s time for a giveaway! I’ll be announcing the winner on Monday (March 7, 2016) to win a small cedar shake coffee sign.
My brother-n-law is remolding an old cabin and replacing the cedar shakes with new shingles/shakes. As we were taking a few of them off, he said to throw them in a pile to be burned. WHAT!?! He must have seen the shocked look on my face, because he said, “take all you want.”
“Bring in the semi-truck”…if I only had a warehouse! 🙂
Well, I grabbed what I could and my sister-n-law is collecting more for me. YEAH!!!
I’ll be making her a big coffee sign for when the cabin is ready. This got me thinking on coffee designs.
I cleaned the shakes and made a simple design that fits perfectly on the narrow ones. With chalk paint and sealer, the shakes are given new life to be enjoyed for years to come.
What do you think? Working on a tea and cocoa design too. 🙂
Some other cedar shake/shingle ideas.

Michelle, I’m glad your creative nature doesn’t have an off switch!
Absolutely adore the coffee shingle sign — and after all coffee is what brought your beautiful art to my attention. We have Rebecca & Aaron to thank for that. I still miss them and The Good Cherry.
