Finding Joy in Cleaning

While cleaning (and doing a little decluttering), I came across this quote.
Words typed on a small piece of paper and tucked behind a mirror in an old jewelry box.
I wonder what “the younger me” was thinking in placing it there. Was she happy or searching for something more out of life.
One thing is for sure, I know she must have had hope in her heart to take the time to place it in a precious keepsake.
Such a simple thing and it spoke instant beauty to me. It filled my heart with praise for God’s goodness in giving beauty for ashes. ♥
