Sunshine Love
I could not resist making another sunshine painting during the rain last week. The possibilities with this sentiment are endless. It’s a great message to add a little love to your space and brighten it up. Soooooooooo expect more sunny paintings to come your way! 🙂
DIY Details HERE:
I started out with a 12×12 wood board/canvas.
With acrylic paint, I base coated it in white and then added yellow hearts.To complete the look of the hearts, I lined them in grey.
Due to the limited space to fit the “You Are My Sunshine” sentiment on the white area beside the hearts, I decide to work out the lettering in pencil on the canvas. I did a lot of erasing before getting it correctly placed (the next time I have a piece with limited space for lettering, I will use tracing paper and map it out first (on it) and then transfer it to the art piece).
I used black acrylic paint for the lettering.Since the canvas had a wider frame, I added a decorative V or arrow/chevron around the boarder (love never ends 🙂 ).
May your day be full of sunshine!
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT)

Michelle, I love your style, it’s so full of fun and joy! I love all your pieces. I particularly love the way that you fit the script into the hearts, it’s so cool. I never would have thought of it. That’s why you’re the artist! LOL
