Merry Christmas 2015
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:11-14 (KJV)
Merry Christmas family and friends! Glory be to God for his redeeming grace in giving us the greatest gift we will ever receive. I pray each of you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ and know the hope, peace, and joy only he can give.
I am enjoying this peaceful morning drinking coffee and taking in the beauty of lights and decorations. I wanted to take a moment and share some festive cheer from our home to yours. We spend most of our time in the den during the winter since it is the warmest part of the house. For one, it is off from the kitchen and it also has a wood stove. Therefore, I concentrated in giving it a bit of Christmas love.To honor my husband’s heritage, the banner above the mantle says, “Merry Christmas” in Finnish.
I love these little deer I picked up at Target last year…and my coaster ornaments added a fun touch to my other tree.
With left over pallet boards, I painted the JOY sign for the mantle (if you have Instagram, I have another photo over there of it being painted).May the JOY of Jesus warm your hearts and give you hope each day! Blessings to you and your family!God with us,
Michelle ♥
