Hello!
Hope you all are doing well!? We are enjoying the end of summer and trying to make the most of everyday. Fall is approaching and I am embracing the season more than ever.
I used to get a little sad to think summer is over, but instead I focus on the beauty of the colors, cooler weather to come, and fun activities/festivals this time of year brings. As most things in life, perspective makes all the difference.♥
“The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.” – Chuck Swindoll
Lately, I have been working on new designs, pallet projects and some other exciting opportunities before the year ends (I’ll share more about that soon!).
I love the process of making something out of plain old pieces of wood. It’s fun to see something come alive with a little bit of paint! 🙂After cutting and assembling a few boards together, I brushed on a quick base coat of turquoise acrylic paint. After it dried (10 minutes), I chalked out my sentiment/verse on the board(s). I already filled in the ‘home’ with white acrylic paint. Then, I painted over the letters with white acrylic paint. When the paint was dry, I finished the piece by adding a brown stain. Now, this old pallet can brighten up a dull room with a cheerful blessing for all who enter it!
“May the LORD bless you and keep you” today and always!
♥ Michelle

This is such a cute and easy project with major impact Michelle. That color really stands out. And it’s just as well because it has an important message to convey.

Michelle, as always I am in love with this piece, your work makes me smile and feel loved. As if you are putting your heart into that base coat of paint and adding love into the stain. Whomever gets this piece is going to love it.
