HAPPINESS is a way of travel, not a destination.
HAPPINESS is a way of travel, not a destination. –Roy GoodmanWorking on new pieces for events this Spring. My version of a ‘happy camper’ to make hearts smile (Proverbs 15:13).
At a recent show, a lady told me she purchased one of my paintings because she could not stop smiling every time she looked at it. I love that! If a painting I create can lighten any heaviness of the beholder, then I have succeeded. ♥
This sweet piece will be paired with a turquoise/teal color frame before heading to a new home. Please follow on Instagram to see any updates on it.
I always make a rough sketch of the design/idea before painting it. Sometimes they turn out to look like the original sketch…and other times, the painting unfolds as I work on it (I can never remember what colors I use, so I have started taking notes on these drawings). In it all, praying, and grateful the Lord guides.
Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4
Have a wonderful week friends!
Blessings,
Michelle ♥

Michelle, this really makes me happy, I love a creative mind. I paint, but I’m not good at seeing something in my mind and creating it, I can replicate but not imagine something new. This is such a talent and I love the way that you see the world, and how you use it to create joy in others!
