Thank You 2016! Hello 2017!
The LORD is good to all: and His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power;…” Psalm 145:9-11
I think it’s human nature to look behind us and think of all we did not accomplish or plans left undone. I could name a list! However, when we ponder things from God’s perspective there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1). We are “the display of His splendor.” Isaiah 61:3
So my prayer for you and also for myself, is to leave 2016 with a grateful heart for all the Lord has allowed us, in His strength, to achieve! To give thanks for ALL He has done in our lives…ever so small or great.
May you look to 2017 with an expectant heart on what the Lord has planned…and seek him for direction in making His works known.
Most importantly, may we all practice spending time in His presence!
Looking forward to trusting Him and His promise to be “a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105

Michelle, how lovely is this? Although 2016 was a difficult one, to say the least, I am thankful for what we learned and that we didn’t have to walk it alone. God let us see Him often and He was a light unto our path. I want to leave all the hardships in 2016, I know that we will encounter more and I don’t want to be weighed down by those we have moved past!
I wish you a wondrous 2017, full of all good things!
